Breast asymmetry is very common, indeed a woman’s breasts are never perfectly symmetrical. However, in some women the difference is more obvious, and there is a whole spectrum of ‘unevenness’ from a mild discrepancy in size between the two breasts, to full development on one side and none on the other.

Silicone Implants and Silicone Safety
There are 10,000 to 25,000 breast enlargements performed in the United Kingdom every year. The majority of implants used are silicone filled implants. There were approximately 350,000 breast enlargements performed in the US in 2007. In the US the majority of implants inserted were saline filled implants following the silicone controversy. This is now changing as silicone filled implants are being re-introduced.

For any woman considering breast enlargement, the obvious attraction is achieving a beautiful natural shape and a feeling of confidence in her body. As well as looking great in lingerie, a cocktail dress and a bikini, it is also important to be confident naked! This means that any scar resulting from surgery should be small, discrete and as “invisible” as possible.
